# Ranks, Levels & XP

Participating in the Retroverse will grant players XP (Experience Points) allowing them to show off their dedication by "Leveling Up" into new ranks.

Currently, ranks are strictly for bragging rights. **This will change in the future.** There are various ways to earn XP:

XP needed to level up is calculated with the following formula:
